Hey y’all. I’m just a twenty something, Mississippi raised, Jesus lovin’ sister, homegirl, and friend who is praising her way through college and trying to figure out this purpose thing.
As for a little history, Seeking the Most Precious Light has been a blog up and running since September of 2014— when I was a sophomore in high school. I focus a lot on topics such as purity and purpose.
Now, five years later, I am a junior at Spelman College in Atlanta, Georgia. I’m still obsessed with Jesus. My favorite past time is watching spiritual poetry and finding new worship songs, and sometimes, creating my own.
This blog has been my safe haven for the past five years. I pray that my writings find you and that you allow grace to continue carrying you. I pray that I’ll always be a vessel and that I’ll always be the evidence that God is better than good.

"Your word is a lamp for my feet, a light on my path." Psalm 119:105
The main priority of this blog is to be a light in your darkness, glorifying God in all that I do. I am unapologetic with my faith. Maybe this blog will inspire you to step out on yours. I am nothing without Him. You are nothing without Him. But with Him, we are unstoppable.
